WHO REALLY IS IN CHAGRE
When you go to someone's house who owns a dog, you can tell in the matter of minutes, if not in a matter of seconds, who is in charge. In more than half the cases, it is the dog that is in charge. For example; I am involved in a volunteer work that enables me to visit a lot of people at their homes. When I ring a door bell, if there is a dog, he or she will bark to alert the owner. Once the owner is alerted, and comes to the door, if the dog goes back to his place and is quiet, you know who is in command. Frankly, that rarely happens. Almost always, the dog is trying to push pass the owner to get to the door and take command of the situation. Pitbulls don't do well in that kind of environment.

THIS HOW TO MAKE YOUR PITBULL HAPPY
If you expect the fawn and white Pitbull Pup on this page to be happy and confident, you have to be a pack leader. When the dog looks to you, and waits for you to give instructions in every situation, they are complete content. If a dog feels that it is up to him to protect you and make all the decisions, these dogs are often unstable, dangerous and filled with anxiety. But if you are the pack leader, they are content to be at ease, knowing that you have it under control.
