DIARRHEA TREATMENT FOR DOGS

Healthy Pitbull Puppies with no Anxiety

CURE YOUR DOG'S DIARRHEA WITH WITH TWO SIMPLE TREATMENTS

A dog with recurring bouts of diarrhea and loose stools is never going to be a healthy dog unless you can cure the dogs diarrhea. Invariably, because good digestion is not taking place due to the diarrhea, the dog will have less energy and be prone to illness. Almost always the dog will exhibit a dull coat; a sign of poor health. I explain below what is needed to ward off your dogs diarrhea and restore his health.

CURE YOUR DOG'S DIARRHEA WITH MY SIMPLE TWO STEP APPROACH

To cure your dogs diarrhea and loose stools, the first thing you have to do is kill off the bad bacteria that is overwhelming your dogs gut. This is done with a good antibiotic. I recommend Tylan Soluble Powder It is a powerful antibiotic that targets the bad bacteria while allowing good bacteria to grow. I won't get into the technical aspects other then to say that in most cases of dog diarrhea, this will work! Remember Tylan Powder is a very powerful antibiotic and should only be used after consulting with a vet and then the care should be monitored by your vet. For some dogs with diarrhea or loose stools, they have to stay on Tylan for life.

SEE IMPROVEMENT IN YOUR DOGS DIARRHEA AND LOOSE STOOLS IN JUST WEEKS

In most cases if you follow my advice in part two of curing your dogs diarrhea, you should be able to get your dog off Tylan after a six week regiment. The amount to use depends on your dogs weight and is generally 5 to 10 milligrams per pound twice a day. You should note your dogs diarrhea and loose stools improving within a week. But you will need keep your dog on Tylan for the prescribed duration. Again consult with your vet.

MANY HAVE FOUND RELIEF FOR THEIR DOG'S DIARRHEA

I have included some links to Tylan Soluble Powder from Amazon.com because there is at the time of this writing several hundred reviews. It has a nearly 5 star rating. Read the reviews to get an idea of why I am confident this will help your dogs diarrhea problems. You will read review after review of dogs that suffered for years with chronic diarrhea and loose stools and found relief and even a cure with Tylan. As you read the reviews you may think that you will try Tylan without consulting your vet; that is a mistake. I can read the reviews and know from my experience that some who sounded knowledgeable in how to treat their dogs diarrhea and loose stool issues are in for problems with their methods.

TOUGH FOR VETS TO DIAGNOSE

All Vets are going to be familiar (or at least should be) with Tylan, but the vet that knows how to cure a dog with diarrhea and loose stools is one who understand exactly how this particular antibiotics works and why it is effective. So, although I said I was not going to go into detail, I am going to tell you enough about it, so that you can judge your Vet's competence in treating diarrhea in dogs. Tylan is a class of antibiotics that targets gram positive bacteria with very limited effect on gram negative bacteria. It is particularly good at fighting the type of bacteria that causes your dog to have diarrhea and loose stools. Thus making it perfect to kill off the bad bacteria while allowing good bacteria to grow.

START YOUR DOG ON A GOOD PROBIOTIC

As you read the review on Tylan, you note that as soon as some stop using Tylan, their dogs diarrhea and loose stools return. This is because the stomach (gut area, intestines and so forth) is void of the bacteria needed for good digestion. Ridding your dog of bad bacteria to cure diarrhea is only half the process. Now you have to introduce beneficial bacteria to your dog if are going to stop diarrhea. Once the good bacteria has been depleted from a dogs system, the dog is most likely going to continue to suffer with poor digestion, diarrhea, and loose stools. You have to introduce good bacteria. FortiFlora CANINE Nutritional Supplement by Purina is the product I recommend. In most cases you will note improvement in your dogs stools in less than a week.

I AM HOPEFUL THAT THE OUTLINED STEPS HELP YOU DOG

I am certain that in most cases the advice I provided above using Tylan and FortiFlora will cure most dogs with diarrhea and loose stools. If Tylan does not seem effective, then ask your vet about using Metronidazole (Flagyl). It is affective against certain types of overgrowth bacteria responsible for causing diarrhea in dogs. It also is fairly effective against a range of protozoa. However if it is determined that your dog has Giardia, Fenbendazole is now the treatment of choice.

YOU'LL WANT TO GIVE YOUR DOG GOOD NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS

In all cases, (whether cured or not) a dog suffering with diarrhea and loose stools will need extra care with VITAMINS AND SUPPLEMENTS Especially is this true if the problem persist.
