What is a Pocket Pitbull?

Pocket Pitbulls are in big demand nationwide.  The very nature of a Pocket Pitbull goes against the image of what many may have for Pit Bulls and their owners.  Instead of wanting a dog that is big and tough, many owners are preferring the smaller unassuming nature of a Pocket Pit Bull.  Bandit is a perfect example of what many are looking for in Pocket PitBull puppies. 

Pocket PitBulls are defined by the ABKC as being no more than 17 inches tall at the withers for males and 16 inches for the females.  On average Pocket PitBulls are about 50 to 60 pounds.  Now because a given dog may be short, that doesn’t necessarily make it a Pocket Pit Bull.  You want the dog to be compact as well.  Meaning you want it to be short in length from rear to chest.  Take a good look at Bandit and then you know how a Pocket Pit should look.



Bandit is full Brother to our girl Smo’ket. Bandit and Smo’ket have one of the best pedigrees you will find; heavy hitters all the way around. There Grandfathers both top and bottom are littermate brothers of arguably the top litter of all time. Cai and Lil Ro being two of the most famous offspring of the one dog that signifies Razors Edge, like no other dog can; The famous “Purple Rose of Cairo”. Bandit is a smaller size Pocket Pit Bull, which many people prefer today. He is very compact with great bone and thick chest and a real nice head. Bandit is very reserved. Is not demanding but yet appreciates it when attention is shown to him. He loves to exercise and performs surprisingly well when meeting any challenge. In the ball fetching play time, Bandit out performs everyone bar none! He is very even tempered and doesn’t lose his composure even when provoked.
